Teesside University London opened in September 2023 and is developing at a fast pace.  The Campus, based at Here East, aims to bring in-demand subjects to new markets, with an initial focus on digital technologies and enterprise. The range of innovative and flexible degree and master’s courses includes animation, gaming, visual effects, business, and computer science degrees. The new campus is a modern facility which was planned and designed with employers at the forefront, providing an environment where industry and academia can come together in a professional setting. TU London are developing a culture that empowers students to work with impact and innovation within a sustainable global digital economy..

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional individual with the drive, enthusiasm and innovative vision as Head of Learning & Teaching. Reporting to the Dean & Director of TU London and working collaboratively with other members of the TU London senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leadership and management of learning and teaching development and delivery on campus.  You will engender the spirit of enterprise and innovation to ensure constant evolvement and competitiveness of TU London in terms of pedagogy and approach and lead developments that make TU London provision attractive to a diverse range of learners.

This is an exciting opportunity, and you will bring substantial academic leadership experience, including curriculum design and development, delivery of engaging and effective teaching, assessment of learning using a variety of modern approaches. You will have the ability to lead and manage course leaders and tutors to deliver strong performance, providing feedback, professional development support and advice. Along with strong influencing skills, you will bring experience in building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and developing productive partnerships with business, the public sector and feeder colleges.
