We are a student-centred University, and our Learning Resources contribute to providing an outstanding student and learning experience. We are now seeking an exceptional individual to join us as a Director of Learning Resources and University Librarian. Reporting to the Registrar & Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, a compelling vision and effective management of the University’s learning resources to advance the University’s strategic agenda for education and research. You will develop and implement an innovative strategy that will further transform Learning Resources, particularly in relation to our University Strategy, digital first strategy and blended learning provision.

This is a critically important role, and we are looking for an inspiring leader with ambitious ideas and a successful track record of leading, managing and developing learning resources in an academic or related environment. You will bring significant experience of motivating and developing large professional teams and promoting a culture of high performance, continued improvement, and service excellence. Also important will be your first-class interpersonal skills and professional expertise in building effective partnerships with the University’s academic and professional communities. Your natural desire to drive innovation will be invaluable in enhancing our education and research.
