The Faculty of Engineering Sciences (FES) is one of the largest and most diverse at UCL with c. 8,500 students from 120 countries and over 1,500 members of staff. About the role
UCL is now looking to appoint an inspirational leader as Dean of FES to develop and implement a compelling, forward-thinking academic vision for the Faculty, championing its mission and impact within UCL and the wider global community. You will drive interdisciplinary collaboration, ensure excellence in teaching, student experience and learning outcomes, and in research, and promote cutting-edge enterprise and innovation. You will foster a culture of intellectual leadership, supporting innovation and critical thinking, and empowering staff and students to engage in transformative research and scholarly discourse.
Responsible to UCL’s Council via the Vice Provost (Faculties) and the Provost, you will ensure the Faculty’s outstanding performance and contribute to the leadership of the institution as a member of the University Management Committee.
