BUILD YOUR CAREER WITH HS2

HS2 is recruiting talented professionals across a range of disciplines to help deliver one of the UK’s largest infrastructure programmes.

Project Controls

Project Controls sits at the heart of successful programme delivery. Bringing together cost, schedule, risk, change and performance information, these teams provide the insight and governance that enables informed decision-making and keeps complex programmes moving forward.

Project Controls roles may involve site, head-office, design, or earlier-stage systems work.

We’re recruiting for a range of Project Controls opportunities across multiple disciplines and levels of experience. If you have a background in supporting the successful delivery of major projects or programmes, we’d encourage you to apply.

What you’ll be working on

      • Developing and maintaining integrated programme baselines across scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality
      • Monitoring programme performance and identifying emerging trends, risks and opportunities
      • Supporting governance, reporting and decision-making across major projects
      • Reviewing contractor submissions and ensuring the quality and accuracy of programme information
      • Coordinating change management activities and assessing the impact of changes to programme baselines
      • Working collaboratively across project teams, delivery partners and the wider supply chain to support successful project delivery

Who we’re looking for

Experience of working within complex infrastructure, engineering, transportation or major capital programmes would be advantageous, although we’re keen to hear from candidates from a range of sectors where robust project controls are fundamental to successful delivery.

Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:

      • Experience working within complex projects or programmes
      • The ability to analyse programme data and translate it into meaningful insights
      • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
      • Experience supporting governance, reporting and programme performance
      • A collaborative approach, with the ability to influence across multidisciplinary teams
      • Familiarity with Project Controls tools and methodologies, such as Primavera P6 or similar enterprise planning and controls systems.
