Cost Management

Cost Management plays a critical role in the successful delivery of major programmes. Combining cost management, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis, these teams provide the financial insight needed to support effective decision-making, maintain programme confidence and ensure projects remain on track.

Cost Management roles may support programme, contract or project-level delivery, working closely with Project Controls, Commercial and Delivery teams.

We’re recruiting for a range of Cost Management opportunities across multiple levels of experience. If you have a background in cost management, project controls or programme finance within complex projects, we’d encourage you to apply.

What you’ll be working on

      • Developing and Supporting the management of programme budgets, actual costs, forecasts and Earned Value Management (EVM)
      • Analysing and validating contract cost performance to ensure accurate programme reporting
      • Producing cost reports, variance analysis, forecasts and Estimate at Completion (EAC) assessments
      • Supporting governance, reporting and performance reviews across major programmes
      • Working with Project Controls, Commercial and Delivery teams to improve cost visibility and decision-making
      • Driving continuous improvement in cost management processes, reporting and programme performance

Who we’re looking for

Experience within major infrastructure, engineering, transportation or capital programmes would be advantageous, although we’re keen to hear from candidates from a range of sectors where cost management and financial control are central to successful project delivery.

Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:

      • Experience in cost management, project controls or programme finance within complex projects
      • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and produce meaningful reports
      • Experience of budgets, forecasting, Earned Value Management (EVM) and cost performance reporting
      • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence across multidisciplinary teams
      • Experience using cost management systems such as Prism, EcoSys or similar enterprise platforms, alongside advanced Excel skills
