Digital Transformation Lead

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Digital Transformation to lead the development and delivery of our client’s first institutional digital strategy. This role is central to their ambitions for innovation, modernisation and future-focused growth – playing a key role in enabling agile, integrated, and student-centred digital services across their academic and professional communities. You will report directly to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Resources), working closely with senior leaders to build a joined-up approach that drives efficiency, reduces complexity and supports the University’s strategic priorities – including strategic change and transformation programmes and the institutional strategic projects. This is a new role with exciting scope. Our client is not looking for someone to maintain the status quo – but to challenge it. They recognise the scale of opportunity to build a digitally confident institution. With over 160 systems and a complex digital environment, they are seeking strong leadership to shape the path forward. This role offers a unique opportunity to build the culture, strategy, and digital infrastructure that will power the next generation of the university. This is a 12 month fixed term contract based a minimum of three days on-site and the remainder remotely

This is a 6 month interim assignment with a negotiable daily rate and hybrid working (3 days on-site min)
