Veredus is delighted to be working with this highly regarded university in the North-West of England as it looks to appoint an interim HR Service Delivery Manager for a 13 month Maternity Cover, from the beginning of December 2021. 4-5 days a week requirement with 3 days a week being on-site.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of HR, the main focus areas of the role will include;
•Leadership of Payroll and Recruitment and the contracts teams
•Immigration and UKVI compliance
•Service Improvement and implementation of a new HR Service system – roll out commenced back office
The client is looking to broaden the scope of the role for an interim to include one or two other lines of responsibility.
The ideal candidate will have HE experience to understand the nuances of some of the immigration compliance issues and also the networks associated to seek guidance (UHR, UCEA, other HEIs etc). However, the client will also look at relevant candidates with real strength and depth from outside the sector. You will preferably be CIPD L7 (Chartered) but equally time served would be a good substitute.
