INTERIM OPPORTUNITY – Head of Change – Inside IR35. Our Local Authority client is looking for an experienced change professional. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the post holder will have responsibility for delivering against Council wide transformation programmes to achieve sustainable financial savings whilst ensuring services continue to meet the required outcomes of the Council. You will play a key role in working with Elected Members, Commissioners, Strategic Directors, and their management teams to provide challenge to all in order to drive the required change.
Key areas of responsibility include working within the business case and programme delivery processes, drive programmes of change, identifying new opportunities and managing interdependencies and risks to support directorates to achieve sustainable change within their services.
You will provide strategic leadership across all directorates to enable and support forward thinking and innovative service delivery which puts the customer at the heart of services.
You will lead and manage the change team to ensure change programmes are clearly articulated and communicated to the organisation and the workstreams are managed effectively with risk, timescales and deliverables clearly identified.
The right person will have extensive experience of supporting change programmes within a local authority environment.
