UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is less than a year old. We have been established to work in partnership with universities, research organisations, businesses, charities, and government to create the best possible environment for research and innovation to flourish. Operating across the UK with a combined budget of more than £6 billion, UKRI brings together the seven Research Councils, Innovate UK and Research England. We aim to maximise the contribution of each of our component parts, working individually and collectively. The successful candidate will have proven ability to work with a diverse and challenging group of senior stakeholders in delivering corporate goals. They will have successfully developed and delivered strategy in a complex organisation,be an effective driver of performance and adept in the use of soft power and more direct means.
