Our global client is a major player in its design and manufacture of commercial and domestic products. They have an extensive footprint around Europe which includes both manufacturing sites and sales offices. As part of their continued growth and business transformation programmes they are looking to appoint a talented IT Manager to oversee all of the European network and facilities.
Role will report directly into the Global IT Director based in USA and manage a team of software and hardware specialists based in various EU countries. Regular international travel will be involved both within EU and US/Asia.

A major part of the role will be to implement robust project controls to ensure the high value CapEx programmes are on track and to budget. Ideally candidates will have a sound ITIL understanding. This role will be pivotal in supporting the Global IT teams drive to become a value-add service rather than a function of the business.
Other skills which will be beneficial to this role include: Manufacturing ERP system implementation, Cloud migration, Team mentoring, Budget control, GDPR & data security knowledge, second language (German or Polish).
This role will be home based (UK) however candidates must live within an hour of an international airport as regular travel is involved.
