Salary: Competitive. The starting point for discussions is circa £65,000 per annum, with Performance Related Pay for successful bid writing and grant application income generation

This a new role for the school, and it presents an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a variety of people across diverse and different teams. Reporting directly to the Headteacher and school Governors, you will be a key member of the school’s senior leadership team and will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of a school budget of around £8 million. You will lead all aspects of financial, operational and project delivery outside teaching and learning and will use your leadership acumen to develop robust financial plans to meet our core educational aims.
We are seeking a colleague with significant senior leadership experience and outstanding proven financial, project and operational management skills. You will have experience of developing and delivering financial management systems and operational policy procedures, and successfully managing and developing teams. Critically, you will also be able to contribute to the organisation wide strategy where appropriate and establish strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels. We are interested in hearing from finance professionals from a wide range of sectors, not just those with a background in educational finance. You will either be a qualified accountant or hold equivalent financial qualification(s) or a degree in a related field.
