We are now seeking an outstanding individual for the role of Director of Estates. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be a member of the University’s Senior Management Team and will provide strategic transformational leadership and effective management of the Facilities Department. You will lead the efficient and effective provision of comprehensive client centred services for estates planning, management and facility support activities, and will ensure the provision of the highest quality environment and innovative use of the university’s physical resources. While our immediate priorities are focused on the health, safety and welfare of our staff and students, the postholder will play a crucial role in shaping our strategic re-assessment of medium and long-term estate strategies.
This is an exciting, challenging and rewarding role. We are therefore looking for an exceptional leader with a proven record of developing and delivering estates and facilities strategies for a complex organisation with a large, mixed use property portfolio. You will be a visible, inspiring and compassionate leader with extensive senior management and professional leadership experience. You will have a successful track record of influencing strategic and operational decision making and commitment to delivering excellent services to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
