This is an exciting time to join Swansea University as we are embarking on to the next stage in our journey and we are seeking to appoint a collegiate and inspiring leader to the position of Chief Digital and Information Officer.

You will be a member the Registrar and Chief Operating Officer’s Leadership Team and will play a key role in the delivery of the University’s Strategic Plan and the development and delivery of the University’s Digital and Information Strategy. You will drive transformational step-change and the development of a ‘digital first’ approach to systems and services with a clear focus on delivering outstanding user experience for our students and staff. You will also ensure that we have the necessary technology, systems and infrastructure that will enrich our core activities in teaching and learning, research, and operational activity.

This is a rewarding and challenging post, and we are looking for candidates with significant experience in a senior leadership role in a large and complex organisation. You will have a track record in delivering digital and technology strategies that have impacted significant business change and organisational benefit. You will demonstrate a deep understanding of modern digital technologies and cyber resilience, experience of driving technology innovations and delivering systems change. You will use your leadership skills to create a culture that delivers successful outcomes through people, developing and motivating teams to succeed. You will have strong commercial acumen, ability to influence strategic and operational decision making and commitment to delivering excellent services to a wide range of stakeholders.
