As a member of the Business School’s Executive Team, you will undertake a key role in supporting and advising the Dean in the delivery of the University’s Mission Statement, Corporate Strategy and institutional policies and procedures. You will have specific responsibility for the strategic vision, setting of goals and ensuring the achievements of Key Performance Indicators across the marketing and recruitment portfolio.

You will assist in driving the growth aspirations and future plans that aim to build a substantial modern, dynamic Business School that blends academic excellence, entrepreneurial thinking and work-place reality in the development of high quality, work-ready graduates, and to provide them with the best opportunities to achieve their ambitions and potential and to make a difference in the world.

With a higher degree in a relevant discipline, you will be expected to maintain your academic standing and authority through teaching, research and scholarly activities. You will have significant experience in a senior academic role showing effective leadership of diverse groups of academic and professional staff and have experience of developing successful partnerships both nationally and internationally, working with the Associate Dean (International) where appropriate. You will have strong working knowledge of the UK student recruitment market in relation to the School’s subjects, and an understanding of the approach to managing marketing and recruitment campaigns.

You must be able to travel and represent the School and University in the UK and overseas as required. Extensive knowledge of the UK Higher Education environment and current issues is also essential.
