Case Study - De Montfort University

Since January 2014 Veredus Assessment & Development Practice has worked extensively with De Montfort University in providing Executive Psychometric Profiling solutions at the senior level as their preferred supplier of psychometric testing. To date we have profiled over 50 external candidates for 12 of their Director and Heads of Service roles. 

De Montfort University is an innovative higher education institution, which offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate & research courses. It is important that De Montfort University make the right hiring decisions to be able to offer the perfect combination of award-winning teaching, world-class facilities and a fantastic student experience. De Montfort University leapt into the top 25 UK universities with the best employment rates and climbed a further 32 places taking it to 54th position-this was the biggest rise of any university in the UK.

De Montford University takes their recruitment and assessment process seriously and as such partnered with Veredus A&D Practice to add another dimension in terms of incorporating tailored psychometric Wave profiling for all their senior candidates, both external and internal. In terms of process, each shortlisted candidate for any senior role completes Wave Professional Styles online followed by an in-depth tailored validation session with a Veredus Senior Psychologist. The interpretation of their leadership profile is then summarised in short and concise summary reports with the aim to provide insight into their fit with the relevant teams and the overall organisation. Veredus A&D works closely with DMU HR Partners to ensure that both written and verbal feedback is provided to various interview panels within the organisation.
