Our interim management practice is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Cosh as General Manager of the Falkland Islands Development Corporation.
Tom has over 24 years experience in both the public and private sector and has had posts such as Head of Economic Development within a local authority as well as undertaking international consultancy work. This is his first interim management position and he will stay in the role until Veredus Executive Search and Selection completes the recruitment of the permanent postholder.
Tom took up the post in June and will be responsible for enabling organisational change in the Development Corporation and its trading units, identifying new economic strategy and policy development opportunities in partnership with the Falkland Island Government and engaging with a range of stakeholders including key industry sectors.
Tom’s appointment is the latest in a growing number of high profile regeneration roles that Veredus has recruited to this year. Joanna Walsh, Consultant within the Veredus Interim team, comments ‘this was an exciting yet challenging role to work on. Via our extensive networks, we were able to source a shortlist of candidates with relevant experience for the role who could consider an assignment based overseas. We are delighted with the positive outcome and wish Tom every success in the position’.
