Practical networking for female leaders

NEWS: Female leaders

At Veredus we are trying to create new ways for female leaders to share their experiences and knowledge.

Our one-day Female Leaders conferences have been a great success, giving hundreds of female managers the opportunity to meet, network and discuss key issues affecting them in their work.

As a female Chief Executive or a female member of a senior or corporate management team working in the public sector, this is your opportunity to hear a wide range of high profile speakers talk about their experiences of turning theory into practice.

We have held three Female Leaders events in the last year - two in the north of England and one in the west country - and both have been attended by a broad cross section of chief executives and senior members of corporate management teams from the local government and health sectors.

Our first conference concentrated on the relative shortage of female leaders in the public sector asking whether women have a different leadership style to men. For the second conference we concentrated on looking to the future and reviewing developments in leadership.

Speakers have been drawn from senior female leaders in the public and private sector and have included Janet Callender, CE of Thameside MBC, Joy Kingsley, managing partner at Pannone LLP and Professor Beverley Alimo-Metcalf, from the Real World Group.
