Veredus Business Psychology has worked with the Scottish Executive
since January 2004 on the assessment of internal and external
candidates for senior Civil Service posts. On one occasion, we needed
to design, organise and resource an assessment centre for no fewer
than 123 senior-level candidates. The logistics and administration
were managed to a tight timeframe.
Veredus has worked with the Royal Liver Assurance Ltd, the second largest friendly society, for more than 10 years on a variety of projects. In addition to recruitment assignments for a Chair, a Chief Executive and a Head of Compliance, we were also asked in 2004 to provide Business Psychology-focused assessment expertise to support their ‘Good to be great by 2008’ change programme.
The Isle of Man (IoM) Government has a need for senior-level talent
to meet a range of strategic issues, but only a small local population
to draw upon. In addition, a number of employees need work
permits, so recruitment presents some unique challenges for the
organisation. Veredus helped through a series of assessment and
team-building exercises over the course of two years.
