Previous Female Leaders events
We have held three Female Leaders events so far - two in the north of England and one in the west country.
All three events were attended by a broad cross section of chief executives and senior members of corporate management teams from the local government and health sectors.
Our first conference concentrated on the relative shortage of female leaders in the public sector asking whether women have a different leadership style to men. For the second conference we concentrated on looking to the future and reviewing developments in leadership.
Speakers have been drawn from senior female leaders in the public and private sector and have included Janet Callender, CE of Thameside MBC, Joy Kingsley, managing partner at Pannone LLP and Professor Beverley Alimo-Metcalf, from the Real World Group.
For our next conference we will be holding the event in London.
